As an introduction to their upcoming science unit about living things, the Year 1,2 class decided to take advantage of the nice weather outside and visit the local park. The students were observing nature as they explored flowers, bugs, leaves, and worms. The students brought some items back to the classroom where they analyzed them up close with a microscope and recorded and described what they found.
