As an investor I would not want any businesses I am involved with ... to be anywhere near or in any way dependent on nuclear power ... Its about the money ... The fuel nuclear reactors use represent a HUGE potential liability ... and it is neither green nor sustainable ... the same is true of the disposal of nuclear waste ... plus ... when governments build nuclear reactors the unexpected hidden costs result in great hardships for tax payers AND those dependent on nuclear power for electricity ... It is NOT cheap energy AT ALL when you look at the overall cost of ownership ... Those tax dollars and energy costs to electricity customers ... remove a great deal of disposable income from the economy ... and thus is VERY bad for the economy ... thus for all businesses ... thus for all businesses/investors ... and oh yah ... did I mention that nuclear energy is neither green nor sustainable and does not deserve to compete with the billions of dollars being invested in solar and wind and other TRULY GREEN and LEGITIMATELY SUSTAINABLE energy sources ... When you consider the HUGE contamination of the planet that results from the use of nuclear energy ... I wouldnt want to have anything to do with insurance companies that in any way will be held liable for nuclear disasters either ... WARNING TO INVESTORS stay away from reliance on nuclear power ... its a FINANCIAL disaster waiting to happen ...
