As anyone who may care to notice might observe, I only have but a big toe into the facebook scene.. i.e., I dont feel compelled to overly engage in the venue as some do. To each his own. However, that said, I do derive a measure of pleasure in making contact and flinging banter with others at the touch of a finger.. And so, here I am, my fellow sufferers and participants of our ever-expanding brave new world. Hence, may I impart to you the following thought... I have no ten zillion pictures of fine folks or cool cats stretched out on a sill. I have no axe to grind, nor gruesome pictures for the psyche to mill. I only want to say hello and illicit some semblance of a laugh, for who among you doesnt dread, the long arm of the facebook collective wrath. Thus, the question one would guess, that sometimes haunts the inquiring lad or lass, is facebook here to warm my heart or cut my heart in half? pv
