As anyone who suffers from it knows, using #chronic depression as just another New-Age argument for healing the environment, or for making this a more loving and compassionate world, trivializes the issue of chronic depression itself, and is an insult to those of us who suffer from and #battle it. Im 80 years old and have battled medically-diagnosed, #chronic depression #all my life. Believe me, then, when I say from #personal experience that it has #nothing to do with environmental issues such as global warming, etc. Chronic depression (and not just periodic feelings of the blues) is #genetically, NOT #environmentally caused. It can be #triggered by the #environment, both physical and social, but NOT #caused by it. ~YLH-k
