“As children of the Most High God, we should never be afraid to ask the Lord, “Is this your will?” God always wants us to make sure He’s on board with what we’re planning to do before we do it. But Satan would rather we rush to judgment on things and always be in a hurry. If you feel pressure, anxiety, and worry all characteristics of the spirit of fear when making a decision, stop and pray. When God leads you to do something, there’s a peace He places in your spirit. He doesn’t bombard your mind with the fear of all the things you could possibly miss out on if you don’t hurry up and move. If it is of God, and He wants you to move quickly, He will undoubtedly let you know, but it won’t be by causing you to feel anxious and fearful. “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
