As could be predicted, the same members of the press who 6 years ago buried themselves half way up Obamas colon, are scurrying to the ramparts to defend Obamas decision to swap 5 top Taliban commanders for Sgt. Bergdahl, who by all appearences, is a deserter. And perhaps worse. As if on cue for the defenders, they have resorted mostly or exclusively to lies while strongly suggesting those who served with Bergdahl, thus making them eye witnesses, are liars. A couple of months back, Sen. McCain, R-AZ, of whom I am not a fan, said he might favor a swap if he knew the details beforehand. The NY Times, once a great paper now best used as bird cage liner, has stated that McCain, who does not favor the Bergdahl deal, has flip flopped. No, NY Times, McCain said if he knew the details. Someone at The NY Times possesses both selective memory and the art of creative nonsense and all part of an agenda to defend Obama, the truth be damned. Then we have the continuing comedy that is Susan Rice, only habitually lying is not funny. The honor and distinction tag she eagerly pinned on Bergdahl as the story was unfolding, she now tap dances backwards on by saying his voluntary enlistment was an act of honor. Fine. That is true. But that is not where she was just a few days ago. It seems she is untroubled and not the least bit concerned with the ease with which lies roll off her tongue. So she clumsily lies about the likely hyperbole she first told. I dont believe she knows she played the gotchya game with her self and I really dont think it would matter to her if she did know. There are many problems with lies, notably, they tend to spawn more lies and then gee, the liar has to lie about a lie and... Yesterday, at least the handful of times I checked, USA Today online carried no mention of Bergdahl. As for MSNBC, which is nothing but an ancillary wing of The White House Press Office, notably manned by Jay Carney, a man who could not find the truth with a GPS, they are in full attack dog mode against anyone, even those in uniform, who portray Bergdahl in a light not favorable to Team Obama and the decision to take custody of him in a swap that can only be called treasonous material assistance to those who have and will kill US Troops in Afghanistan. If Liberals had full run of the press, they would declare with a straight face that Bergdahl is an upscale clothier. It is one thing to defend Obama and pretend to be professional journalists. It is another to attack all who question this matter, more so when those who were in uniform and rubbed elbows with Bergdahl and are speaking out, are now being called psychopathic liars. Funny how the proximity of those nearest to Bergdahl is dismissed by those who pontificate from a State Dept. podium, or recently had Windows 8.1 installed on their NY Times computers or toil as a little known underling for HUD. They confess to not knowing the details while stating that those who would, are liars. Nice touch there. Men who risked it all, who knew Bergdahl, are liars. How long before the orchestrated effort to demean those men leads to charges of the most unsavory nature? Not long would be my guess...
