As cruel of a man like Fred Phelps(westboro baptist church) was I think that it is incredibly unChristlike to glorify in the death of a man who, evidenced by his life, never knew the boundless love and grace of our great God. Yes he said some very hateful things and never showed love, but the Christians response must be love in return not picketing his funeral. This goes so much deeper than this man. How we respond to any situation reflects who we truly are. There is no room for retaliation when you are attempting to wave the banner of Christ. This is another one of those turn the other cheek moments and to love them like Jesus.
