As deer season ends and I am afforded one more opportunity to sit in awe at the goodness of our great God it is a great opportunity to reflect on the past year and Gods blessings ! Hunting n fishing have placed me in the path of many blessings from our great God : allowed me to deepen my relationship with one of my brothers Sean ; be reminded of the blessing of friends to spend time in the field with, David Wisely, Derek Hermann, n Kyle Childers; spend quality time with daddy Red ; connect with a good friend on his 1st turkey harvest, Micheal Kramer; share with my wife,Shelley, in harvesting one of her biggest bucks to date; see Peyton Bates harvest his 1st ever deer; and spend long awaited time with my baby, Paige, in the deer stand ! Pardon the play on words but the Hunt for a God fearing fiancé for Whitney, Luke, who has a hunger for the things of God. Finally a good friend, Josh Crisp, decided to take his family, follow God, and go on the greatest Fishing trip of their lives, a life of ministry:) ! One last thing, at the beginning of 2014 I prayed and ask God to deepen my relationship with Him and cause me to fall deeper in love with Christ ! To use the the words of a good friend of mine Be careful what you ask of God He just might give it to you :) ! God is good all the time........
