As everyone knows who has had a hospital stay it seems like just as you get good and asleep someone comes in to poke or prod you. Poor ole Hubby had a bit more than usual because of his condition and was so worn out and tired. There was one little nursing assistant who was so precious and filled with the love of the Lord it just shined out from her face and you could hear it in her voice. She called us Mama and Papa when she would come in and went out of her way to make us feel special. One morning at 1 oclock I heard someone come in and tell Hubby they had to take his vitals and get him up and out of bed to weigh him....I thought before I opened my eyes yeah right, he is going to meekly get out of bed at 1 oclock in the morning to get weighed! I was getting up to assist because I knew he was going to raise quite a fuss, when this sweet little one came in and said Papa, Im so sorry to disturb you but this is very important to get your weight to know how much fluid we are getting off from around your heart and Mama you dont have to get up dear, Papa is such a lamb we can handle this. I was so shocked when he smiled and told her good morning and they helped him get right out of bed and right back in before he even fully woke up. I thanked the sweet little nurse and told her only the love of God that shone from her could have done what she just did and gave her a hug. I thanked God for her and was back asleep quick as a wink. Our Father is so loving and kind in meeting even our smallest needs and this was such a great example of his love and care through the willing vessel of this precious young lady~
