As far as Im concerned, ISIS does not represent the worldwide Muslim community; and it stands for nothing but the imposition of violent hate, intolerance and mayhem. It is an insult to Islam and all devout people of the earth. I will never understand this kind of evil. Those who are so possessed become the equivalent of ravenous, rabid, murderous beasts and - in the name of all that is left which is human, decent and beautiful - must be stopped. Just as the fascist Nazis (who wrapped themselves in a cloak of a Christianity so twisted, it bore no resemblance to the teachings of unconditional love and tolerance of the historic Jesus) had to be stopped. My thanks to Miroku Nemeth, a courageous, brilliant and devout Muslim friend, who brought this to my attention.
