As far as the Biblical view of tithing goes.....That was a statute under the Mosaic Law, intended to be adhered to by native Israelites at that time in history. Since then the law of Moses has been fulfilled by Messiah, which means native Israelites are no longer bound to its external statutes, rituals, traditions and ceremonies. People who are not native Israelites (Gentiles) WERE NEVER under the Mosaic Law, therefore they/we were never obligated to follow those external statutes, rituals, traditions and ceremonies. That includes the obligation to give tithes. its wrong and unbiblical for these church leaders to twist the Scriptures to make believers erroneously think that if they DONT pay tithes they are robbing The Lord.
