As happy as I am for Lupita Nyongo & what her image means for mainstream A-list black actresses, it would mean so much more if it wasnt for such a stereotypical role of a black woman. A degrading role in a slave movie. I still think shes a stunning beauty with a tremendous talent, but Im waiting for an Oscar buzz for a black actress/actor who plays a corporate magnet/mogul (just an example). #imoverit #imsorry
