As hard as it is to believe, today marks two weeks exactly since Suni and Kasea joined myself and the senior wieners. A lot has happened in those two weeks. Kasea got a dental, had a large mass removed from his undercarriage and has learned to eat in a crate at very specific times. Hes learned that if he asks, his new daddy is only too happy to help him get on to the big bed. Hes discovered that the doggy doors allow him to go in and out as he pleases and takes advantage of them (mostly) as he pleases. Hes learned that hes home. Suni has also learned to eat in a crate at very specific times. Shes learned that if she asks, her new daddy is only too happy to help her get on to the big bed. Despite all the negatives that have arisen, particularly with Sunis health, I feel good about their acceptance of my home as theirs. I feel that Ive accomplished something. For both of them.
