As head of the NC Senate, Thom Tillis led the effort to block Medicaid expansion to an estimated 318,000 NC citizens. He even ran ads earlier this year saying he stopped Obamacares Medicaid expansion cold. NOW he says I would encourage the state legislature and governor to consider it if theyre completely convinced they now have the situation under control. The Huffington Post, in an article posted Friday, clearly sees Tillis change of heart as a classic flip-flop and attributes much of this change to the fact that he has been trailing US Sen. Kay Hagan in his race for US Senate and is running out of time and plausible strategies to try turning things around. Only nine days until Election Day - do all you can to GET OUT THE VOTE - it is hard to trust what Thom Tillis says on this important issue when he PREVIOUSLY boasted that its not happening in NC, and its because of Thom Tillis.
