As i confessed to my students the other day.... each generation has some clothing of which at least some in their parents generation do not approve. I recall a sit-in at Judson to allow girls to wear jeans (about 72). After jeans were approved, a few girls in my neighborhood (me included) were still not allowed by our dads to wear them.... so we brought our jeans to school and changed. Actually, we pulled on our jeans and pulled off our skirts while seated on the back seat of the bus.... What did you wear which drove the older generation crazy?
