As i sit back writing the official track order for my new album and preparing for my acoustic performance at BAR - New Haven on Wednesday 10/15/14, Im remembering the first day I went in the studio to discuss making this record. The first track i performed on a broken folding chair in the basement of the studio was Someday Im Gonna Make You Mine. I was both excited and nervous to play it as its a sweet yet some what desperate song about basically watching someone from far away and deciding to finally put your heart out there for that someone whos continually looked past you. In spirit, it sometimes reminds me of my favorite Temptations song, Aint To Proud To Bed. Upon release of the record I will get to share a hauntingly funky yet soulful version of this song with all of you featuring Tim Palmieri Solo Acoustic of Kung Fu on electric guitar and Kris Jensen whos performed on albums with everybody from Joan Osborne to Dickey Betts on Soprano Saxophone.
