As i sit here this New Years Eve and reflect on 2014, I realize that if I could do anything differently this year it would only be getting paid more. Through everything (sickness, depression, family issues) I wouldnt change it because it got me to where I am. CONTENT. I am on the road to better health. Some relationships have been corrected. I have removed some people from my life and reconnected with some from the past. I actually practiced this year the principal: if they dont add value then theyre subtracting value and they need to move on. People are put in our life for a reason and a season. Letting go of those that are just there for a season. I am so very lucky to have such a wonderful family, that at times its hard to let anyone else into that circle. My home may not be open to everyone, but my heart is open. Not going to go out tonight to bring in the new year. Im going to remain here in my house with my closest friend, Yvette Boddie McNeill and my nephew. Im going to get me a glass of Duplin Christmas Wine and Im going to toast it in with prayersand well wishes for all my family and friends near and far, wishing them that best New Years and a blessed 2015.
