As i was doing some reading and study this evening,i turned the tv to one of the national news channels. They were playing a tape of an al qeada camp in yemen. A meeting of the leaders of al qeada was taking place at the camp. They had leaked the tape of the meeting to show the world they were not afraid to be seen. The no.2 commander of al qeada led the meeting and did most of the talking. I was struck by something he said. He stated that their goal was to attack the united states. Not new to hear. But what he said next really got my attention. He said their war was with the cross. They intented to attack the cross in the us. How lofty ones goal must be to even think they can attack the cross. We are celebrating passover this weekend in this nation. The death, burial,and resurrection of our Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ. The only begotten son of the living God. He shed his precious blood for the sins of the world on that cruel cross. Even for members of al qeada if they will come to him. And their war is with the cross. Their war is with the Son of God?? People we need to open our eyes too whats taking place around us. The book of Revelation speaks of men trying to wage war on the son of man. These are times we need to be aware,awake,and spiritually in tune friends. We are children of the light. We will not slumber and sleep and let these things slip up on us. The Lord told his diciples in matt.24,luke21,and mark 13, when you see these signs appearing know the end is near. I dont know when the Lord is returning. But if he doesnt come tomorrow,ill look for him day after tomorrow. When God instructed moses how to prepare for the first passover. He told him to take a perfect lamb. Take the blood thereof and paint the door posts and the lintel of the house. To prepare the lamb and consume it with bitter herbs leaving nothing for the morning. He told him also that as theyy ate to have their feet shod and their staff in their hand,ready to go in an instant. Friends its time to eat, shod,clothed,armored up,ready to go. Father i love you amen.
