As if the heat werent enough I am so angry with Woolies right now, - TopicsExpress

As if the heat werent enough I am so angry with Woolies right now, I could explode. This is a vent so not necessary that you need to read it. Two days ago I put in an online grocery order to be delivered today between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. 2:30 pm no sign of it so I check its status via the tracking website. It says its due to be delivered between 12:10 and 12:30. It wasnt. 2:35 pm I rang the order status line to be told that my order had been delivered. It hadnt. 2:40 pm rang customer service to be put on hold while the operator rang the driver to see where he was. After 5 minutes waiting I was told the order would be delivered in the next 10 - 15 minutes. It wasnt. 3:35 pm I again rang customer service, got the same operator, was put on hold for another 5 minutes or so while he again presumably rang the driver, this time I was told he was very sorry but the driver had not turned up for work today and I would not been getting my delivery. He would refund the money. By now I am almost out of cigarettes and milk - two items I CANNOT live without. So I lost it. (Thanks Pascal, you have taught me well.) I demanded that the delivery be made today/tonight. Operator (sounding very intimidated) said he would do what he can and ring me back 3:55 Phone rang and hung up just as I picked it up. I rang the number back. Got a different operator. She was very apologetic, put me on hold for another 5 minutes or so (by now I am so sick of their hold music) then informed me that they would deliver at 6:30. No good, I said, I will be out from 5 - 7:30. Please deliver after that. Again on hold for 5 minutes or so. Can the driver leave it at the front door if he comes around 7. Fine!! 4:15 a delivery truck arrives. Big sigh of relief at my end. Except - half the order is missing. All the dairy items and the fruit. Driver assures me thats al there was at the warehouse. 4:30 once again rang the f*****ing customer support line (sorry, but thats how angry I am. Keep in mind each time I have to give my name, address, verification and order number). Different operator again who apologises profusely, they will refund the missing items. By now Im in yelling mode so I tell her I dont want a refund I want my goods. Will they be delivering the other half after 7:30??? No, the delivery I got was it. So I give her a (loud) lecture on how this was an excellent way to lose customers to Coles and it wasnt good enough etc etc and hung up in total frustration 7:15 pm I will go up and buy some milk on the way home from the park. I should have done that in the first place!!!! What an idiotic waste of an afternoon. Vent over!
