Just as Sunderland fans showed great kindness & sympathy towards Newcastle fans & the families of John Alder & Liam Sweeney in July following their tragic deaths in another senseless act of terrorism ... Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper noted that he had received calls from world leaders including President Obama and seemed particularly touched by the gesture of American hockey fans who sang O Canada at a Pittsburgh Penguins game Wednesday night. Take a bow Pittsburgh fans. Canada has now suffered 3 acts of terrorism in 3 days ... A radicalised man runs over two Canadian troops (Monday 20th) - killing one of them - in an attack reminiscent of Fusilier Lee Rigbys murder in London in May 2013. Despite these people believing their cause is just (it isnt), people prove time & again that there is great goodness in this world, even in the face of blind ignorance & violence. GO Canada, a country I have only the fondest of memories for ... and in honour of my friend Patricia Howard ... I have a fleshy-headed mutant in sector 16B ...
