As if working at Verizon from 10am to midnight yesterday wasnt enough - I spent 90 mins on the phone with them today, on my day off. I must really love my company. My boyfriend is going to be really proud of me today. Instead of buying a 4th new phone, I took my Moto X off my verizon account with the post paid that, admittedly, I havent been using and replaced my Cosmos 3 with my Moto X on a 1GB data plan for $47 per month instead of paying $52 per month with unlimited data. My Cosmos was limiting me. Now when I go on my trip in April I know Ill have the coverage I want, and for $20 I can add 3 extra gigs for maps and general app usage. Since the Moto X was virtually unused on the latest plan I put it on, I get the remainder of my deposit back - around $126 in a check mailed to me for cancelling that plan. [I didnt have an ETF because I brought my own device over] I then called TMobile. I pay my brother $50 a month to use the unlimited data plan on that phone. I can take over that line *anytime* I want, and keep my $50 unlimited data plan - great for say Pandora and youtube all day long ;). Im still paying for it, but changing hands will be easy. For the first time in over 3 years, as of January 2015, I will now pay LESS than $100 a month on my phone(s), and I still get to have 2 devices. :) YAY ME! P.S. I wonder if I can donate my cosmos 3 to the device cart at work. We need more basic phones....
