As in countries like Malaysia, UAE etc the currency exchanging shops are at every second step, but in Malaysia whenever I look at the price board for Flags & names of the countries I didnt find Pakistani flag or currency, India, Philippine, China etc are there but no PK flag or PKR currency name, I had some PKRs so I wanted to exchange that with Dollars, but after asking from at least 4 shops in Kuala Lumpur & 2 in Colombo, they said a big NO for exchanging PKR. Only one person said that hed take 25K PKR at $150, I said it becomes almost $250 but you are exchanging it with $150, so Ill not exchange it that cheap. Have kept the PKR in safe place and will use in Karachi when Im back Inshallah.
