As individuals, we tend to make statements like: “I’m not going to stop until I get what I want. I want this type of man and/or woman to be my spouse or significant other. I want to have this or that.” Sometimes we have to take into consideration is the thing and/or person we want so badly actually what we need? There were and are a lot of things I thought I wanted, but for some reason those things and/or persons seem to always elude me. When I begin to really think about the whole scenario concerning “wants” my mind gave thought to what is stated in the inspired Word of God when the Apostle Paul proclaimed in the Book of Philippians Chapter 4… “18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen (KJV).” In other words: “18 At the moment I have all I need—more than I need! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me when Epaphroditus came. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that pleases God well. 19 And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for us. 20 Now unto God our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen (Living Bible).” I understand it can be difficult, but we really do have to learn to be content, until what or who we need comes along. #Justathought #Thinkaboutit #ReevaluatePriorities
