As insurance companies strive to make greater profits, be advised that the once great BCBS is now trying to establish contracts at less than Medicaid reimbursements. In many cases as little as 60% of Medicare considering co-payments that many can not afford. In doing this, they are getting the lowest bidder. Many small businesses will not be able to absorb the loss of such low reimbursements. Service will suffer and less expensive, lower skilled employees will be used.
