As is Rememberance Day thought Id put these photos of my dad on.In the first one he is the one in uniform with his brother n sister.He jolned the army as soon as he was old enough n during that time he lived in a tent in India for 6 years.He had malaria 7 times n was lucky to survive. I have a photo in his army album of his Regiment on guard duty with Ghandi.Around a year after him serving his time,the 2nd World War started n he was off again. He served his time in France and Belgium and the 2nd photo shows him in the back row with some women who he found out later were spying for the Germans.He was also at Dunkirk n was among the last to leave the beach . He never went on holiday after the war ended and the furthest he ever went was to visit me in Newcastle.x
