As it is not necessarily the severed spinal cord but rather the secondary inflammation that causes a lot of the damage in SCI and as a result ongoing research is focusing around trying to minimise this inflammation; it would be great to hear if anyone has tried or had any experince (either successful or not) using other techniques to minimise this inflammation e.g. cold laser therapy, accupuncture, essential oils, diet, ice packs, etc Please let us know your experience and if this has worked for either your patients or for yourself. Here is an example of the cold laser therapy - interesting to hear any feedback. Please note we do not endorse any of these treatments but would love to hear your experiences.
