As it stands there appears to be more interest for Judo for Children at tonights class. The children appear to be within the age range of 5 to 10. If this session does appear to be a childs class (I dont know until I arrive) then the theme of the class will be very child orientated. Games of bulldog, races. With regards Groundwork, children are not taught armlocks, chokes or stangles (something I totally agree with). We will be looking at Breakfalls and if it seems this is to be a Judo Class then it will be taught with the emphasis being on skill and not strength. Throwing Techniques will be introduced over the next few weeks.............As many of you guys know getting the martial arts class to this stage has been a real fight over at the Crystal Peaks area within the venue. There maybe teething problems but bear with me. If you have energetic children then Judo is a great sport for releasing energy, likewise nervious/less confident children will find Judo good as well.......Instruction to be done in a paitent way. We start 7pm
