As it’s the season for bonfires we just couldnt resist posting about the range of ‘fiery’ colours in the gardens! It’s a great year for Autumn colour thanks to our wonderful summer and on blue sky days like today it’s a real privilege to be surrounded by Sir Bernard’s collection of trees. He was so enthused by trees that he started an Arboretum in his own back garden – The Lovell Quinta Arboretum – before starting the collection here. The Lovell Quinta Arboretum is open to the public every day and is only a few miles away behind the Swettenham Arms pub.
