As man utd kenya thumped their second goal of the match in the 87th minute to make it 2-0, their fans rushed into the field in celebration as it had secured the much needed 3 points they so much fought for.....but had it?? one Peter Chelseaholic Nyaga begged to differ. coming on in the 2nd half, nyaga was desperate to make his mark, running across the field trying to bring one back for the team, and he did, in the 89th minute netting his 1st goal of the match which at the time seemed like a consolation goal. The cfc-k team seemingly rejuvenated by that effort sent men on the attack reverting to a 3-5-2 formation and a free-kick ensued, nyaga towered over it as the cfc-k fans expected nothing but a goal, a fact that underlines nyagas specialty in the dead ball situation, it was 2-2 in the 91st minute as the ball deliciously hit the post to bounce inside the goal from the nyaga freekick. CFC-K had now smelt blood and once again threw caution to wind sending men in front in their numbers. buoyed by the addition of BonfAce Ace Mativo and Odero Opuk Mburi in the 2nd half and pushing Antony Amimo infront, their intention was clear, they were not settling for a draw. a foul was committed on one of the players during the attack and another free kick was given, tight angle and 30 yards from the keeper. the fans chanted NYAGA, NYAGA, NYAGA....as the inspirational player went to take the free-kick. it was too much to ask of the player to score from that angle, from that distance...but what he released replicated a missile from a bazooka. thunderbolt..the keeper had no chance. in the 94th minute man utd k 2-3 cfc-k as the hatrick hero wheeled away in celebration while the entire fans ran after him, including arsenal, liverpool and man utd fans ...it was a goal worth the headlines and more importantly woeth the 3 points.
