As many of you already know, I landed in the emergency room the day we got back from Delaware. On July 1st I had back surgery and am well on my way to recovering. During the past 2 1/2 weeks my mom, Alexis Durila and Jonathan have reallyha d to help out in a big way. I am not allowed to lift more than 5 lbs. and no bending at the back. Needless to say that makes it impossible for me to pick up Slias, getting things from the bottom of the fridge, do laundry, scrub floors, take out the garbage, etc. The boys spend a large part of their day at my moms. The good that has comes from this is that Silas has started talking more and more each day. Hes been placed in a situation where others are not as familiar with his needs as I am and it has basically force him to vocalize his thoughts and needs. So, not only an I thankful for all of the help, cards, and prayers, I am also super excited that Silas vocabulary is growing! We do not go back to DE for infusions until Sept. 8. At that time, he will rec. the 3 daysof infusion therapy and get a DEXA (bone density) scan.
