As many of you have noticed, the past few months have been a quiet few for Ranchess Collections. With the RC one year mark upon us, I cant help but look back and smile at this business. Not only have I learned how to manage a business inside and out, I have grown immensely as a person, met some of the best in the industry and most importantly, built relationships with the greatest customers a girl could ask for. Just as RC has grown and evolved over the past year, I too have grown personally and my vision professionally has evolved as well. When I started RC, I knew I was passionate about business, entrepreneurship and the fashion industry. Although my love for these things remain, I found as I built this business the thing that truly drives me, the thing that makes my feet hit the floor in the morning, the thing that makes all the late nights and early mornings worth it, that thing is people. After all this time I realize I am deeply passionate about people. The question has lingered in my mind but it wasnt until a few months ago that I really asked myself What do I love? What is it that makes life, well, life? And as the memories started flooding in, so did the tears as I began to recall the past year. It was the momma who called looking for something for her plus size daughter, refusing to go to a school dance because she didnt feel pretty in anything. I actually didnt have anything but I made a trip to the mall, threw together an outfit, wrapped it Ranchess Style and shipped it. It was a RC shopping trip that turned into a heart to heart, lying on the boutique floor until 1am. Its running your brother and his buddies out after they inform you that youve got the prettiest customers in town, its the hugs that happen after the loss of a child where a heartbroken momma melts and being a momma yourself, you cant help but do the same. To think that it was cute clothes that brought us together. Ladies we are here for a larger purpose. We were made with great intention and I encourage you to live with great intention. You are not here by accident and the things you love are not in you for no reason. They are your calling. Embrace the change, the hurt, the happy and the things you are passionate about. Whether youre an artist, a waitress, a momma, a student, photographer, doctor, anything: OWN IT. Do what you are passionate about! Its never too late to accept the call of your heart and the purpose to your existence. Own up to who you are, it will change not only your life, but someone elses as well. So with all that, RC is not the end but the beginning of a huge transition. With a few amazing opportunities looking me in the face, I will be dedicating the next 6-9 months developing these things that promote not only incredible fashion, art & lifestyle but also a culture of love and embracing you. You gals have my deepest gratitude and I cannot thank you enough for your support. Stay tuned for an amazing sale hitting THIS Wednesday as well as further updates on our new developments!
