In the 84th session if the Texas Legislature, HB 677 has been filed by Representative Sylvester Turner to address such requirements. Yes I have heard all of the reasons some oppose it. I remain steadfast in supporting it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If yours differs from mine so be it. As I have said before, I do not choose friends who only agree with me. Regardless please consider contacting your representative and senator and express your feelings about the bill. If you do not know who to contact, you can Google Texas Legislatures and find them. If you dont express your position, your voice will not be heard.
