As many of you know, I got hurt handling a dog last night. Partially, because he lacked training and mostly my fault. I should have been more prepared when handling a strange dog in a new (crazy) place. I took said dog for a walk this evening. He does like to pull on the leash, after a few corrections, he got much better with that. He was sweet and wanting to learn/please. He was a perfect gentleman when meeting the rest of my pack. He does need to learn some more manners and that is something we will be working on everyday the next two weeks he is here. I got a little humble pie last night, a good reminder for me to slow down take the time to read the animal I am working with a bit better.
