As many of you know, Im on a mission to slim down and tone up before my surgery date. I met up with my buddy Leta today and she took the time to explain the importance of doing a liver cleanse in the spring (if you know me, you know my attention span for that stuff is fairly small, but Leta is the bomb! So I paid attention) and helped me figure out the best way for me to proceed. Michelle and Leta are INCREDIBLE people who do their work with love and so much wisdom. The first time I went to Leta I sat up on the table and she asked me to stick out my tongue. I was nervous because Id never been to an acupuncturist before in my life and I was skeptical to say the least. I stuck out my tongue and she asked me a few questions including if anyone i knew had passed away recently. It just so happened that a good friend had passed away a few weeks before and its not someone she would have known... if she could see that from looking at my tongue... I trust her to do damn near anything! Im not from Santa Cruz. I dont do alternative medicine/healing/what not, but I listen to Leta. I trust them because I know they are passionate about what they do and they give SO much to our community. Im just trying to help send some folks their way :) Go see Leta (and Michelle!), youre welcome.
