As many of you know, my Solomon is a rescue--he was in a puppy mill for 6 years, then a rescue group for 2 years, then fostered by my friend & ran away & was missing for 3 weeks & finally ended up with me, where he will be forever. He is still skittish, even though sometimes he wants to be petted & loved--but only on HIS terms. (Who can blame him.) But every once in a while, he acts like a carefree dog. His brother, Jack, is greedy when it comes to toys--they are all his! So this morning when I was playing with Jack, Solomon crept up & stole each one of these toys---hed pick it up, look up at me as if to say cover for me, & then run off with it. They ended up on the couch--along with one of my old slippers that he stole... Times like these--when he acts like a puppy again--make me smile so much!
