As many of you know, on Oct. 30th Hal had a melanoma removed from his back. They took an 8 inch wide area of deep tissue from between his shoulders. its going to be a long healing process just on the incision. The surgeon said the stitches would have to stay in for about 4 weeks. We are waiting for the report on the tissue analysis. Praying they got it all. My prayer request right now, though, is for comfort. He is in pain a good bit of the time. Not unbearable but constant and nagging pain. Plus he cant lean back in his chair without putting pressure on the site. Its hard to watch him suffer. But the healing process will take its time...just Lord, let the results come back clean.
