As many of you know, our Pulaski and other surrounding county - TopicsExpress

As many of you know, our Pulaski and other surrounding county friends have taken a hard hit with the 7+ inches of rain dropped on them in the last 48hrs! There are over 375+ caves in Pulaski County, I have numerous landowners and friends in Pulaski County, most of which have had moderate damage. I however, have not heard from some of our elderly landowners who have landline service and I know several are in low lying areas and may need help! I am heading to Pulaski County tomorrow morning- Thursday, to check on them and see what we can do to help them clean-up in the coming weeks. If you are available to go with or have a jon boat (I have kayaks, but would prefer a motor for a couple of these sites) please contact me. I expect to leave early in the morning from Jefferson City, which is about an hour and a half away normally...we are working on a route there now....many of the roads including sections of hwy 42, hwy 133 and I-44 are closed due to the flooding. Gasconade is at record flood level, Maries and Osage are also well above flood stage, and Ameren UE is opening the flood gates at Bagnall Dam today, which will make it even worse, expecting another 3+ft rise on the Osage and its subsidiaries! The area is unfortunately, expecting more rain for the next 2 days!! Please keep our friends in your prayers! ksdk/dontmiss/391629/193/Flooding-continues-in-south-central-Missouri
