As many of you know, today is one of the most wonderful days of my life. Today we celebrate the memory of our Mom on her birthday. But also, 24 years ago, I gave my Mom the coolest birthday gift ever - Lenny. We got married on her birthday because I wanted to celebrate my union of marriage on the birthday of the most important person in the world. I meant this then and I still mean it today. Although we miss my Mom every single day, we hold on to so many wonderful memories and still feel her in our daily lives. I had written a poem for my Mom that was recited at my wedding (by Java Jive!!) and after the poem was read, the band played The Wind Beneath My Wings. Her strength helps us through so many things and she continues to be The Wind Beneath Our Wings. Miss you Mom.....XO
