As mentioned in my previous post, Planetes is a near future anime. Its centred around a group whose job it is to collect all the crap whizzing about in Earths orbit. However, despite their noble cause, theyre still looked down upon because they are essentially bin men. Its a great setup with great characters and an engaging story. Regardless of how you feel about anime its worth a look. No giant robots or school girls here. Its straight down the line hard sci-fi and VERY 2300.
