As mentioned previously, I will be posting portions of the production diary I wrote during the shooting of the first Jellyfish Eyes. The shoot took place in the summer of 2011, which was right after the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami, and you will notice the sensitivity with which we had to approach the act of making a film with those events as its theme. The other aspect Ive tried to convey is the gratitude I felt toward our staff, who did all the tasks onset that I, in my experience, was unable to do myself. What follows is a series of posts taken from those diaries.
