As moms to be, before our kids are born we say our daughters will always wear a bow, our kids will never wear character clothing, they will never be those kids throwing tantrums in public places and more importantly you will never be the parent who allows it. We say we will never make mistakes because after all how could you? Your child will be perfect and so will you as a parent. We say we will never complain about being tired and getting no sleep. We say our kids will never be dirty! I will never be that parent who lets my kid have dirt on their face, those parents are lazy. We say they will always be dressed to the T and look like they stepped out of a fashion weekly magazine BABY edition. The reality of it is that motherhood is not glamorous, we all have our share of baby food or milk stuck in our un-brushed hair. We all (moms and babies) wear clothes at times that belonged in a dumpster years ago. Our babies get dirty...they eat unspeakable things...they throw fits like you would said they never would. Raising a child isnt for the faint at heart and its a roller coaster of moments that make you laugh til you cry and moments that simply just make you cry. Its the hardest thing ever, but its the best thing ever, and one day youll find all those moments you said would never happen to you end up being the moments you never forget and wouldnt trade at the end of the day for the world.
