As most know my main choice of bass bait is the Spinner Bait, I would like to ad that I have now made this my late day and into the dark new favorite. I have found that different colors have been working and has been producing good results for myself. In the kayak it is perfect hight. During the cast I leave the rod pointing forward till the bait lands and rapidly lift the rod and while leaning back and watching the water I retrieve at a speed that keeps that top blade at almost the top of the water.
