As most of you have read, we are naming our son after me, Adam. I am humbled & honored by this and the fact that Jackie was so happy to do so. Foust is my lineage but Adam, thats me. I want to publicly acknowledge how grateful I am to have a woman in my life like Jackie Gregg. Certain things I have been in search of in relationships most of my life. In my youth I didnt even understand what I needed from a partner. I recognize that I wasnt a great one myself. However, as I grew older I came to realize exactly what I needed and the value of relationships in general. Four things I believe make a satisfying partnership are: communication, treating the relationship as a team/unit, respect and trust/confidence (I feel the 2 hold hands). Dating I came to believe that these 4 simple aspects were impossible to find in a relationship. I even let many of them fall by the waist in some relationships and in return was not treated fairly or correctly. A mistake. Jackie grasps the importance of these aspects. Adam is one of many examples that reconfirms for me the partnership we share. Provides me with the true feeling of a unit and family. We dont have a mentality of this is mine and this is yours. This is what a mans role is and this is what a womans role is. This is what I want and you need to make ME happy. No, no, no. Thank you, Jackie. Thank you for our babies. Thank you for being the amazing mother you are. Not only to them but their father. Thank you for restoring my faith in a partnership. When the tide rises too high, you can always stand on my shoulders for air. Love you.
