As most of you know, Almost one week ago, I had one of the scariest things ever happen to me in my life. I had a terrible car accident and totaled the white egg. I have always heard when you see a deer in the road, you hit it, but my first instinct was to dodge Bambi. I swerved and flew down a ditch, flipping my car several times, landing upside down. Thankfully, I was knocked unconscious so I do not remember most of this. I woke up, with my car upside down in the woods. I just remember thinking my car was going to explode and I had to get out. I couldnt get out for a long time and when I realized my brakes were above my head, I finally figured out how to crawl out. The cops told me if I wasnt wearing my seat belt, I more than likely wouldnt have made it. That is why I am posting this status, because people do not realize that a seatbelt can save your life. I have never wrecked before, ( well besides running into my parentals garage when I was 16) but I have always worn my seatbelt. Even if you are driving a block, you have to wear your seat belt. My accident was very traumatic for me and I am so thankful for the friends that helped me, and took me to the emergency room. There was an angel in the front seat with me for sure and I will be forever grateful that god allowed me more time. This experience made me realize not to worry and analyze the small things so much. I have always had an overwhelming feeling to make everyone like me and the thought of someone mad at me would always keep me up at night. This accident really set my priorities straight and made me realize what is important. Life is way to short to worry what other people think of you and what they say about you. I have been wasting so much time worrying about petty things, when I could have been improving myself, along with helping so many other people. Thanks to everyone and my family for all the prayers, calls, texts, and help. I am feeling so much better today and am almost back to my bouncy, crazy self!
