As much as Duke wants to put the blame on Jews for slavery, all people regardless of their religion or race, who participated, profited, owned, traded, promoted, tortured, murdered, raped or used slaves in any way are as culpable as those who owned and manned the ships. Evil is evil regardless of your level of participation. As Duke states, most white people didnt own slaves, yet they still promoted racial hate and apartheid causing unending suffering to black people in the USA through our history. What is important now to know is that slavery is wrong and evil and the vast majority of the world no longer participates in it. (at least in this overt form) Where it still does endure all people are responsible to stomp it out when we come upon it. BTW, Jews are considered white in America... and I , as a white woman, I have absolutely no guilt about slavery. It was another time with people I didnt know. Why should I accept guilt over something I didnt do? Thats just another form of bondage. Why he thinks we have bought into guilt as white people collectively here in the 21st century is outside of my comprehension and most other thinking people who base themselves in reality. White people have done much to end apartheid in the USA and to bring equality into our society. We are all still working on it with people of a multitude of races around the world.
