As much as I love what www and social media has done for ministry I cant help but feel pained over how it has destroyed many young peoples potential and passions by offering control without face to face social interaction. Picking what issue grabs your attention-reposting-liking and forwarding involves no pain and no commitment. You can support every issue that grabs your attention with little or no emotional investment. Let go of your mouse and ask the Lord to help you feel and not run. Enter into someone elses pain and struggle. Thats where passion and mission is birthed-in pain and struggle. Get out into the world and experience life; turn off your phone/I pad etc and look people in the eye, listen what they have to say. I promise that if you make a regular practice of this you will find purpose and passion for that one thing or cause greater than yourself!
