As much as Ive respected Shakespeare over the years, I could never really get into him because, you know, Shakespeare. That changed forever when I watched The Hollow Crown, which I now regard as the finest creation in the history of film. It brought Shakespeare to life with the finest acting and richest production of our generation. Jeremy Irons, Patrick Stewart, Tom Hiddleston, David Suchet...the list goes on and on.
