As much as i can not stand complaining, i am just going to say it. I used to be a claims processor and supervisor for several years. In all my years, i always thought of the families i paid claims for as "my people". I always made sure they were handled the way i wanted my family taken care of. I made extra calls to providers to get what i needed to document files properly in case of audit. I never expected the insured to have to argue with providers. I negociated discounts before PPOs and HMOs existed. I loved it. I knew while families dealt with illness and death financial burdens for them did not need to happen with claims. Whatever you choose to do, work with pride and go that extra mile. I wish my insurance processors cared now. Its just a paycheck to too many people now. Pray for people every day to find favor for justice in themedical field.
