As my blogging colleague Benjamin Kirby once predicted, I have cast my ballot for Rick Kriseman for Mayor of St. Petersburg. The reason is simple: I do not want Kathleen Ford to win. Not in the primary election. Not in the general election. As for my prediction how tomorrow will turn out, I peg it at Foster 36%, Kriseman 34%, Ford 25%, 5% for Cates and Cogemi. The referendum to cancel the contract with Michael Maltzan to build "The Lens" will pass 66% to 34%. Of course, Darden Rice and Amy Foster will win their respective City Council races. I predict Rice will finish in the 50% to 55% range, while Foster will finish about 60% of the vote. Oh, and Karl Nurse will win, also.
