As my family and our small town mourn the loss of another innocent child gone to soon, I ask that you read this short article. So many people want to show their love, support & compassion but often, unknowingly say very hurtful things. Dont say you know how they feel because you dont. Ive lost a child and I still dont know exactly the agony they are facing at this moment. Dont say Everything happens for a reason It was Gods plan At least you were able to have him for almost 10 years He is in a better place Right now that family needs & wants him HERE with them. Dont try & force religion. Dont remind them they have other children. Dont tell them they are strong or that you could never handle what they are facing, they have no choice but to be strong. But also dont be afraid to speak Masons name now or in the years to come. Dont be afraid to share a funny or happy memory. Dont avoid because you dont know what to say, a hug means and says a lot. Mason, We will love you forever, you will always be remembered & missed!
